Our role in your booking
We act as your agent. When you confirm a booking through us, the contract for the stay or service is between you and the provider (the hotel, restaurant, transfer operator or venue). Our role is to arrange, confirm and coordinate it correctly.
GDPR: your rights as an EU or UK guest
If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you specific rights over your personal data:
- Access: a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification: correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure: deletion of your data where retention is not legally required
- Restriction: a pause on processing while a request is resolved
- Portability: your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection: to processing based on legitimate interests or marketing
Our full data practices are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this legal notice.
Legal basis for processing
We process personal data on three bases under GDPR Article 6: performance of a contract (arranging your booking), legal obligation (tax and record-keeping duties under Australian law) and consent (marketing emails, which you may withdraw at any time).
International transfers
Booking data is processed in Australia. For EU and UK guests this means data is transferred outside the EEA/UK. We limit such transfers to what the booking requires and apply contractual safeguards where partners are involved.
Complaints
Complaints about data handling can be made to us first at [email protected], and we will respond within thirty days. EU and UK guests also have the right to lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority.
Responsible gaming notice
Casino services we arrange are subject to Queensland gaming law, including age and identification requirements. Gaming is for guests over 18. Support resources are available through the venue and through Gambling Help Online.
